Problem

A lithium-ion cell has an equilibrium (open-circuit) voltage E=3.6 VE = 3.6\,\mathrm{V}, an internal resistance Rint=15 mΩR_{\rm int} = 15\,\mathrm{m\Omega}, and a rated capacity of 2.5 Ah2.5\,\mathrm{Ah}. Find its round-trip efficiency when it is charged and discharged at a rate of 1 C1\,\mathrm{C} (a current equal to its capacity, drawn or supplied over one hour), taking the charge and discharge currents as equal in magnitude.
