Problem

A buck converter steps Vin=24 VV_{\rm in} = 24\,\mathrm{V} down to Vo=5 VV_o = 5\,\mathrm{V}, switching at fsw=300 kHzf_{\rm sw} = 300\,\mathrm{kHz} with an inductor L=22 μHL = 22\,\mu\mathrm{H}. ((a)) Find the ideal duty cycle DD. ((b)) Find the peak-to-peak inductor ripple current ΔIL\Delta I_L. ((c)) Find the load current below which the converter enters discontinuous conduction.
