Problem

Pressure is defined by P=F/AP = F/A, the force FF divided by the area AA over which it acts. ((a)) Write dim⁡(P)\dim(P) in terms of the base dimensions M\mathsf{M}, L\mathsf{L}, T\mathsf{T}. ((b)) The hydrostatic-pressure formula is P=ρghP = \rho g h, where ρ\rho is a mass density, gg the acceleration due to gravity and hh a height. Check whether this formula is dimensionally homogeneous.
