Problem

A laboratory report on a ball rolling without slipping states its total mechanical energy as E=12mv2+12Iω,E = \frac{1}{2}mv^2 + \frac{1}{2}I\omega, where mm is the ball's mass, vv the speed of its centre, II its moment of inertia about that centre (with dim⁡(I)=ML2\dim(I) = \mathsf{M}\mathsf{L}^2) and ω\omega its angular speed. Find the error.
