Problem
A workshop technician writes the following traceability statement for a pressure gauge used on a test rig: "The rig gauge is checked each month against our workshop's master gauge. The master gauge was checked, when new, against a second gauge from the same delivery, which read the same to within 0.5%. The rig gauge is therefore traceable." Find the broken link in this chain, and state what would need to be added to make the rig gauge traceable to the SI defining constants.
