Problem

A burette graduated in 0.1 mL0.1\,\mathrm{mL} steps is used to deliver a fixed volume of liquid seven times, with the volume delivered read off each time (mL): 25.2, 25.4, 25.3, 25.1, 25.3, 25.4, 25.225.2,\ 25.4,\ 25.3,\ 25.1,\ 25.3,\ 25.4,\ 25.2. ((a)) Calculate the mean volume delivered Vˉ\bar V and the sample standard deviation ss. ((b)) Calculate the standard error of the mean, σVˉ\sigma_{\bar V}. ((c)) Write the mean volume delivered in house form, stating NN. ((d)) Name two effects that this uncertainty does not include.
