Problem

Light at a point is elliptically polarised. Its tip traces an ellipse whose axes lie along the xx and yy directions, with semi-axis E0E_0 along xx and semi-axis 2E02E_0 along yy. The rotation is left-handed as seen by an observer looking towards the source (CV6). Write the normalised Jones vector of this state.
