Problem

A ground-state baryon built only from uu, dd and ss quarks is measured to have charge Q=−1Q=-1 and strangeness S=−1S=-1. ((a)) Deduce its quark content. ((b)) State whether its ground-state spin is 1/21/2 or 3/23/2, given that it belongs to the same spin family as the proton and neutron.
