Problem

The muon neutrino νμ\nu_\mu carries electric charge Q=0Q=0, no colour charge, muon lepton number Lμ=+1L_\mu=+1, and a mass below 1 eV/c21\,\mathrm{eV}/c^2, negligible on the scale of every other entry in the Standard Model table. ((a)) List every gauge boson among the photon, the gluon, W±W^\pm and ZZ that can meet νμ\nu_\mu at a single vertex, giving the property of νμ\nu_\mu that permits or forbids each one. ((b)) State whether νμ\nu_\mu has a vertex with the Higgs boson, and explain why this differs from its weak vertices.
