Problem

A K−pK^-p scattering experiment scans s\sqrt{s} with a beam-momentum resolution that contributes only 0.2 MeV0.2\,\mathrm{MeV} to s\sqrt{s}, and measures the cross section into hyperon final states, with the data below. Data (s\sqrt s in MeV, σ\sigma in mb): (1504.0,2.42)(1504.0,2.42), (1511.7,6.00)(1511.7,6.00), (1519.5,12.00)(1519.5,12.00), (1527.3,6.00)(1527.3,6.00), (1535.0,2.42)(1535.0,2.42). ((a)) Read off the mass of the resonance producing this peak. ((b)) Read off its full width at half maximum Γ\Gamma. ((c)) Convert Γ\Gamma into a lifetime τ\tau.
