Quantum Mechanics: From the Photon to the Hydrogen Atom, Ch Line spectra, the Bohr atom and the old quantum theory

Problem

Doubly ionised lithium, Li2+^{2+}, has a nucleus of charge Z=3Z = 3 with a single electron bound to it. Use the Bohr results for a one-electron ion, with the hydrogen ground-state energy 13.613.6 eV, the Bohr radius a0=0.0529a_0 = 0.0529 nm and hc=1240hc = 1240 eV nm; treat the nucleus as fixed. ((a)) Find the energy of the n=1n = 1 level, in eV. ((b)) Find the radius of the n=1n = 1 orbit, in nm. ((c)) Find the wavelength of the photon that just ionises the ion from its ground state, in nm.
