Problem

A member of the group prepares the diffusion study's code for a paper as follows. The paper's code-availability line reads "code at the group's public repository, main branch". The repository has no licence file, "since it is public anyway". The lockfile sits on their laptop and was never committed. The paper's figures were saved by hand from a notebook during the analysis. ((a)) For each of the four choices, say what goes wrong for someone outside the group who tries to rebuild the paper's figures, and what the release should contain instead. ((b)) State the single check that shows the release is complete before it is archived.
