Problem

A disc of poled PZT ceramic (piezoelectric coefficient d33=500 pC N−1d_{33}=500\,\mathrm{pC\,N^{-1}}) is used as a force sensor. A compressive force of F=50 NF=50\,\mathrm{N} is applied along its poling direction, between its two electroded faces. (a) Find the charge QQ that appears on the electrodes.
