Problem
The b1(1235) meson is a non-strange state with isospin I=1 and charge parity C=−1.
((a)) Calculate its G-parity.
((b)) State whether a strong decay into an even or an odd number of pions is allowed, and check that the observed decay b1→ωπ, with the ω then decaying to 3π for four pions in all, is consistent.
