Problem
The ηc(2S) is the first radial excitation of the ground-state charmonium pseudoscalar ηc(1S): it is a spin-singlet (S=0), orbital ground state (L=0) bound state of a charm quark and its antiquark, with radial quantum number n=2. For a quark-antiquark pair, parity is P=(−1)L+1 and charge conjugation is C=(−1)L+S. Write down the spectroscopic label n2S+1LJ and the JPC quantum numbers of the ηc(2S).
