Problem

The measured mixing frequencies are Δmd=0.5069 ps−1\Delta m_d = 0.5069\,\mathrm{ps^{-1}} and Δms=17.765 ps−1\Delta m_s = 17.765\,\mathrm{ps^{-1}}, and the meson masses are mBd=5.280 GeVm_{B_d} = 5.280\,\mathrm{GeV} and mBs=5.367 GeVm_{B_s} = 5.367\,\mathrm{GeV}. The lattice ratio of hadronic factors is ξ=fBsBBs/fBdBBd=1.21\xi = f_{B_s}\sqrt{B_{B_s}}/f_{B_d}\sqrt{B_{B_d}} = 1.21 (FLAG). Calculate ∣Vtd/Vts∣|V_{td}/V_{ts}| from ∣Vtd/Vts∣=ξ(ΔmdΔms)(mBsmBd).|V_{td}/V_{ts}| = \xi\sqrt{\left(\frac{\Delta m_d}{\Delta m_s}\right)\left(\frac{m_{B_s}}{m_{B_d}}\right)}.
