The Boundary-Value Problem, Ch Separation of variables in Cartesian geometry

Problem

A duct has cross-section 0<x<a0<x<a, 0<y<b0<y<b with a=0.15 ma=0.15\,\mathrm{m}, b=0.225 mb=0.225\,\mathrm{m} (so b/a=1.5b/a=1.5). The walls x=0x=0, x=ax=a, y=0y=0 are earthed; the wall y=by=b is held at V0=120 VV_0=120\,\mathrm{V}, with thin insulating gaps at the corners. Find the potential at the centre (a/2, b/2)(a/2,\,b/2) to within 0.1 V0.1\,\mathrm{V}.
