The Boundary-Value Problem, Ch The multipole expansion of the potential

Problem

Two point charges, each +q+q with q=5.0 nCq=5.0\,\mathrm{nC}, are fixed at (a,0,0)(a,0,0) and (0,a,0)(0,a,0) with a=3.0 cma=3.0\,\mathrm{cm}. Take the origin as stated. ((a)) Find the total charge of the pair. ((b)) Find the dipole moment about the origin, giving its magnitude and its direction relative to the xx-axis. ((c)) Can this dipole moment be treated as the leading non-vanishing term for computing the potential far from the pair? Explain, referring to how each term of the multipole expansion falls with distance.
