The Boundary-Value Problem, Ch Linear dielectrics and the boundary-value problem with matter in it

Problem

A point charge q=3.0 nCq = 3.0\,\mathrm{nC} is embedded deep inside a large block of uniform, linear dielectric with εr=4.0\varepsilon_r = 4.0, far from any surface of the block and with no other free charge present. ((a)) Find the bound charge that collects at the location of qq. ((b)) State the bound volume charge density everywhere else in the dielectric, and give the one-line reason. ((c)) Find the net charge (free plus bound) that determines the field at a point well inside the dielectric, away from the block's surface.
