Problem

A cargo rocket accelerates with constant proper acceleration a=15 m s−2a = 15\,\mathrm{m\,s^{-2}}, carrying Rindler coordinates adapted to it, tail at ξ=0\xi=0. ((a)) Find the acceleration, relative to the cargo floor, that a released parcel would appear to have, and its direction. ((b)) Find the exact ratio of the clock rate at the nose, ℓ=200 m\ell = 200\,\mathrm{m} above the tail, to the clock rate at the tail. ((c)) Find the distance behind the tail at which g00g_{00} vanishes.
