The Nucleus Resolved, Ch Reaction mechanisms: resonances, the compound nucleus, direct reactions and the optical model

Problem

A compound nucleus decays only by neutron, proton or gamma emission. The transmission coefficients of the three exit channels, each summed over partial waves and final levels, are Tn=3.20\mathcal{T}_n = 3.20, Tp=0.45\mathcal{T}_p = 0.45 and Tγ=0.020\mathcal{T}_\gamma = 0.020 (dimensionless). Using the Hauser-Feshbach branching formula, find the probability that the compound nucleus decays by each of the three channels, and state which channel dominates and why.
