The Solid Earth, Ch Plates, creep and convection: the mantle in motion

Problem

Two rigid plates, P and Q, rotate relative to one another about an Euler pole on the equator at 0.0∘N,10.0∘E0.0^\circ\mathrm{N}, 10.0^\circ\mathrm{E}, at a rate ω=0.55∘ Myr−1\omega = 0.55^\circ\,\mathrm{Myr^{-1}}. Find the speed of P relative to Q at a site on the boundary at 25.0∘N,100.0∘E25.0^\circ\mathrm{N}, 100.0^\circ\mathrm{E}. Take the Earth's radius as a=6371 kma = 6371\,\mathrm{km}.
