Problem
A small stationary engine runs in a repeating cycle. In each cycle it absorbs Qh=2500J of heat from a hot reservoir and rejects Qc=1700J of heat to a cold reservoir. Both bodies are large enough to count as reservoirs, and the engine returns to the same state at the end of every cycle, so its internal energy is unchanged over a cycle. All the heats are quoted as magnitudes.
((a)) Find the efficiency e of the engine.
((b)) Find the work Wout delivered by the engine per cycle.
