Problem

The silver film of the previous problem (λ0=600 nm\lambda_0=600\,\mathrm{nm}, ϵ~m=−8.88+1.44i\tilde\epsilon_m=-8.88+1.44i, air on the far side) is instead deposited on the base of an SF10 glass prism of refractive index np=1.723n_p=1.723, in the Kretschmann geometry. Using the real part of the bare-interface dispersion relation, compute the internal angle of incidence θ\theta inside the prism at which the surface plasmon polariton is resonantly coupled.
