What an Instrument Can See, Ch Multiple beams: the stack as a matrix and the etalon as a filter

Problem

An air-spaced Fabry-Perot etalon has two identical, lossless, plane mirrors of power reflectance R=0.950\mathcal{R}=0.950 separated by an air gap d=25.0d=25.0 mm (n=1n=1). It is illuminated at normal incidence with λ=550\lambda=550 nm. ((a)) Write the etalon as the matrix product mirror ×\times spacer ×\times mirror and give the free spectral range in Hz. ((b)) Give the power transmission on resonance. ((c)) Give the power transmission exactly midway between two adjacent resonances.
