Problem

Two identical stones A and B, each of mass 0.5 kg0.5\,\text{kg}, are held at heights 8 m8\,\text{m} and 5 m5\,\text{m} respectively above the same horizontal ground. Take g=9.8 m/s2g = 9.8\,\text{m/s}^2. (i) Find the difference in their gravitational potential energies. (ii) To make stone B have the same gravitational potential energy as stone A, how much additional height must it be raised?
