Problem

An object starts from the origin, moves 30 m30\,\text{m} east in 40 s40\,\text{s}, and then moves 40 m40\,\text{m} north in 50 s50\,\text{s}. Determine the magnitude and direction (in degrees north of east) of the object’s average velocity for the entire 90 s90\,\text{s} interval.
