Problem

In an experiment to measure gg using a simple pendulum, the length is measured as 1.000 m ± 0.002 m1.000\,\text{m}\,\pm\,0.002\,\text{m} and the time taken for 50 complete oscillations is found to be 100.0 s ± 0.2 s100.0\,\text{s}\,\pm\,0.2\,\text{s}. (i) Calculate the value of gg at the location. (ii) Estimate the percentage error in gg arising from the stated uncertainties.
