(i) Explain the physical quantity measured by a speedometer.
(ii) Give two reasons why it is sufficient for the driver to know the car’s speed rather than its velocity during normal driving.
(iii) Would it be useful to install an instrument that continuously shows the car’s velocity? Give one argument in favour and one against.
