Problem

A hiker starts from the origin OO. Step 1: He walks to point AA so that his position vector becomes r1=4i^−3j^ km\mathbf{r}_1 = 4\hat{i}-3\hat{j}\,\text{km}. Step 2: From AA he reaches point BB whose position vector with respect to OO is r2=−2i^+5j^ km\mathbf{r}_2 = -2\hat{i}+5\hat{j}\,\text{km}. Step 3: From BB he finally moves to point CC by a further displacement d=6i^+2j^ km\mathbf{d}=6\hat{i}+2\hat{j}\,\text{km} relative to BB. (a) Position vector of CC (b) Magnitude of total displacement
