Problem

A 1.7225 g of metal (bivalent) salt Ax(CO3)y(OH)z\text{A}_x(\text{CO}_3)_y(\text{OH})_z was dissolved to prepare 100 mL solution. 50 mL of this solution required 10 mL 1.0 *N* H2SO4\text{H}_2\text{SO}_4 solution to reach the equivalence point using phenolphthalein as indicator. Another 50 mL solution using methyl orange as indicator required 15 mL of same acid. Deduce the formula of salt.
