Problem
Three identical cricket balls, each of mass 0.15 kg, are bowled along a straight pitch with speeds of 20 m/s east, 15 m/s west and 10 m/s east respectively. Answer the following.
(a) Calculate the magnitude of momentum of each ball.
(b) Arrange the three balls in ascending order of the magnitude of their momenta.
(c) Taking east as the positive direction, write the vector momentum of each ball with its proper sign and then arrange them in ascending order based on their vector values.
