Problem

A concave lens has a focal length of 10 cm10\,\text{cm}. An object is placed 15 cm15\,\text{cm} in front of the lens on the principal axis. (i) Find the position of the image formed. (ii) Calculate the magnification and comment on the nature and size of the image. (iii) The object is now shifted to 8 cm8\,\text{cm} from the lens. Repeat parts (i) and (ii) for the new position and compare the two sets of results.
