Problem

At 25 °C the solubility product constants are: • M₂X : 2.5×10−82.5\times10^{-8} • MX₃ : 5.0×10−95.0\times10^{-9} For each salt, assume it dissolves completely according to its formula stoichiometry. Determine which salt produces the greater total concentration of dissolved ions in its saturated solution, and calculate that total ionic concentration (in mol L⁻¹) for the more concentrated solution.
