(Long Answer Question) An object is placed 30 cm30\,\text{cm} in front of a concave mirror along its principal axis. A sharp real image is obtained 60 cm60\,\text{cm} in front of the mirror on the same axis. Subsequently, the object is moved 10 cm10\,\text{cm} closer to the mirror. Answer the following. (i) Determine the focal length of the mirror from the initial object–image pair. (ii) After the object is shifted, calculate the new position of the image. (iii) By how much and in which direction (towards or away from the mirror) has the image shifted due to the object’s movement? Comment on whether the final image remains real or becomes virtual.
