Problem

In △ABC\triangle ABC right-angled at BB, the side lengths (in cm) are: AB=x+3,  BC=2x−1,  AC=13AB = x + 3,\; BC = 2x - 1,\; AC = 13. (i) Form an algebraic equation in xx using the information given. (ii) Solve the equation and write the possible value(s) of xx. (iii) For the valid value of xx, find the exact lengths of all three sides. (iv) Calculate the perimeter of △ABC\triangle ABC.
