A buret consistently delivers 0.02 mL less than the volume indicated on its scale. In a titration used to determine the concentration of an HCl solution, a student records a reading of Vr mL at the end point.
(i) Derive an expression for the percent error in the calculated concentration of HCl in terms of Vr.
(ii) Evaluate that percent error when Vr=23.60mL.
