Problem

For the reaction A⇌BA \rightleftharpoons B at a single constant temperature, two sets of equilibrium measurements were recorded: • When K=12K = 12, ΔG∘=−3.1 kJ/mol\Delta G^\circ = -3.1\,\text{kJ/mol}. • When K=1.3×10−1K = 1.3 \times 10^{-1}, ΔG∘=+1.3 kJ/mol\Delta G^\circ = +1.3\,\text{kJ/mol}. Using only these data, calculate the temperature of the system in kelvins.
