Problem

For an arithmetic progression, the sum SnS_n of its first nn terms is given by Sn=2n(3n−1).S_n = 2n(3n-1). Using this information, answer the following. (i) Show that the sequence is an arithmetic progression by finding its first term and common difference. (ii) Determine the least value of nn for which SnS_n exceeds 10001000. State your answer with full working.
