Problem

For a person with normal hearing, the faintest sound that can be heard at a frequency of 400 Hz400\,\text{Hz} has a pressure amplitude of about 6.0×10−5 Pa6.0\times10^{-5}\,\text{Pa}. Calculate the corresponding intensity and sound intensity level at 20∘C20^\circ\text{C}. Assume v=330 m s−1v=330\,\text{m s}^{-1} and ρair=1.29 kg m−3\rho_{\text{air}}=1.29\,\text{kg m}^{-3}.
