Let f(x)=x3−3kx2+3(k2−1)x+7f(x)=x^{3}-3kx^{2}+3(k^{2}-1)x+7, where kk is a real parameter. (i) Find the critical points of ff in terms of kk. (ii) Obtain the condition on kk for which ff possesses exactly two distinct real critical points. (iii) For those values of kk obtained in part (ii), calculate the corresponding local maximum value MM and local minimum value mm of ff. (iv) Determine all real values of kk for which M−m≥8M-m\ge 8.
