Problem

In an experiment, 50 cm350 \text{ cm}^3 of a solution of HCl with a concentration of 1 mol dm−31 \text{ mol dm}^{-3} was reacted with 50 cm350 \text{ cm}^3 of a solution of NaOH with a concentration of 1 mol dm−31 \text{ mol dm}^{-3}. The temperature of the solution increased by 12 °C. Calculate the temperature rise if 50 cm350 \text{ cm}^3 of the same HCl solution was reacted with 50 cm3 of a solution of NaOH with a concentration of 0.5 mol dm-3. (1) 6 °C (2) 12 °C (3) 24 °C (4) 3 °C
