A block of mass 0.40 kg0.40\,\text{kg} is attached to a horizontal spring of force constant 160 N m−1160\,\text{N}\,\text{m}^{-1} and allowed to oscillate on a frictionless surface. At t=0t = 0 the block is released from rest at its maximum extension of 0.08 m0.08\,\text{m}. a) Calculate the time period of the oscillation. b) Determine the time taken for the block to reach the displacement +0.04 m+0.04\,\text{m} from equilibrium for the first time. c) At what later time, within the first complete oscillation, will the block again be at +0.04 m+0.04\,\text{m} while moving in the opposite direction?
