Problem

Consider the system of linear inequalities x+2y<6,x−y≥1.x + 2y < 6, \quad x - y \ge 1. (a) Verify whether each of the points A(2,1)A(2,1), B(4,0)B(4,0) and C(3,2)C(3,2) satisfies the system, showing all working. (b) On graph paper draw both boundary lines, indicate their correct styles (solid or dotted), and shade the region representing all simultaneous solutions. (c) From your graph, write down the coordinates of any two distinct points that lie inside the feasible region and explain how you have confirmed that they satisfy both inequalities.
