Problem

A bag contains only blue and green marbles. The total number of marbles in the bag is 60, and the probability of drawing a blue marble in one random draw is 35\dfrac{3}{5}. (i) Define the terms “sample space” and “event” for this experiment. (ii) If the number of blue marbles is bb, express the probability of drawing a blue marble in terms of bb. (iii) Hence determine the values of bb and the number of green marbles in the bag.
