Problem

Suppose a charged particle of charge qq moves through a distance ll , with a speed vv , in a direction that is perpendicular to a uniform magnetic field of strength BB . (1) What will the time it takes for the particle to travel the distance ll be? (2) What is the current caused by the moving charged particle? (3) Since this current occurs over a length ll , show that the force on the moving charged particle in the magnetic field is given by F=BqvF = B q v . (4) Now suppose that the charged particle moves at an angle, θ\theta , to the magnetic field. How will the equation for the magnetic force it experiences differ from that given in part c?
