Problem

Define g(θ)=sin⁡θ1+cos⁡θg(\theta)=\dfrac{\sin \theta}{1+\cos \theta} for real θ\theta. (i) Find all values of θ\theta in the open interval (0, 2π)(0,\,2\pi) for which g(θ)g(\theta) is not defined. (ii) Rewrite g(θ)g(\theta) in terms of tan⁡θ2\tan\dfrac{\theta}{2}. (iii) Using the result of part (ii), determine the range of gg for all permissible values of θ\theta.
