Problem

Let E=sec⁡x−cos⁡xcsc⁡x+sin⁡xE=\dfrac{\sec x-\cos x}{\csc x+\sin x}. (i) Simplify EE so that the final answer contains only tan⁡x\tan x. (ii) Using the simplified form, calculate the numerical value of EE when x=45∘x=45^{\circ}. State any restrictions on xx for which EE is not defined.
