Problem

A particle moves in a circle of radius 5 cm5\,\text{cm} with constant speed, starting from the point (5 cm,0)(5\,\text{cm},0) and moving anticlockwise. Its projection on the vertical diameter is noted. When the particle has rotated through an angle of 60∘60^{\circ}, the displacement of the projection from the centre of the circle is (a) 2.5 cm2.5\,\text{cm} (b) −4.3 cm-4.3\,\text{cm} (c) 4.3 cm4.3\,\text{cm} (d) 5.24 cm5.24\,\text{cm}
