Problem

Let θ\theta be an acute angle such that cos⁡θ=1213\cos \theta = \dfrac{12}{13}. Answer the following questions. (i) Determine the value of sin⁡θ\sin \theta. (ii) Simplify the expression E=sin⁡θcos⁡(90∘−θ)+cos⁡θsin⁡(90∘−θ)E = \dfrac{\sin \theta}{\cos(90^{\circ}-\theta)} + \dfrac{\cos \theta}{\sin(90^{\circ}-\theta)} so that it contains no trigonometric function of a complementary angle. (iii) Hence, find the numerical value of EE for the given θ\theta.
